May 1st - Registration Begins for Summer Classes 
 and the 2013-14 Dance Season:
Pre-Registration for next year's season begins May 1st. The new season will include Summer Classes and our Annual Holiday Show.

Violet Dance Company Auditions May 4th: 
If you would like to audition for our Dance Competition Company, the auditions will be May 4th. Please see the Violet Dance Company for details regarding dress code, time and fees for the audition. 

What is an Excused Absence: 
There are two forms of excused absences. Both must be called in to DMDA. Excused absences are: being ill or attending a school required function (one that is required for a grade.) 

Tuition Reminder:
Please remember that tuition is due the first class of the month. Late fees are applied after the 10th of the month as stated in your registration form.


 
DANCER of the MONTH:

May: Kelly Williams!
Kelly works so hard in class. Every week she is improving. Her behavior in class is fabulous and she is kind to others. She never misses class either. Keep it up, your teachers have noticed!

April: Jacob Olsen!
You have been picked by your instructor because of your great work ethic and natural talent. You always try to push yourself in every class by asking good questions and learning from your mistakes. Great Job!

March: Orchide Nguyen!
Orchide is 7 years old and this is her first year in ballet and jazz. Orchide's instructor says she is very respectful and always willing to help. She loves that you come to class with a Big Smile!

February: Carys Gloeckler!
Carys was chosen because she comes to class ready to work hard, never talks out of turn and always has a smile on her face! The other thing her teacher loves about Carys is that she very clearly practices when she is at home.

January: Erin Miley!
Erin is 14 and is enrolled in many classes. Erin, one of your instructors wanted you recognized for the amount of effort you have been putting forth. They have noticed a huge improvement from the beginning of the year. Keep up the good work!

December: Payton Smith!
Payton is in the Jazz 5-7A class. She has great potential, is very respectful, has great attendance and her technique has been improving tremendously! 

November: Mackenzie Kaul!
Mackenzie is currently enrolled in ballet and jazz. She was picked by her instructor because she is very serious about her dance training and is very dedicated in class. You are a hard worker Mackenzie, keep it up!

October: Isabella Ayrapetov!
Isabella is new this year and is in beginning ballet. She is memorizing all of the terminology very quickly and pays attention very well in class. She works hard. What a good job you are doing. Keep it UP!

Summer Dance Calendar
Summer dance camps/intensives are a great way for your young dancer to try new styles, keep up their technique and stay active. Along with our Dynamic Dance Instructors, we bring in excellent guest dancers, and teachers, from around the valley to expose your dancer to new choreography and styles.
