3. Attendance:
I. Regular attendance is essential in the learning
process so please attend class regularly and be on time. This
means arriving a few minutes early to allow time to put on
dance shoes, use the restroom, get a drink, and so on. If
a student must be absent, please inform the studio so a make-up
class can be arranged. If there isn’t a make-up class
for you or you are unable to attend one within 2 months, the
lesson is forfeited. No credit or refunds will be given for
unused classes. For recital you are allowed 5 absences from
January to the end of June, when the recital is. It is essential
that students are here to learn the dances so the other students
who are there are not held back due to the others absences.
You cannot miss more than this to be in the recital, even
if you have already ordered your costume. No refunds will
be given. Attendance is imperative to have a recital dance
be clean and prepared for a performance.
II. If you are gone for more than 4 classes in a
row without a valid excuse, your spot will be given up to
someone else on the waiting list. If there is still a spot
available in the class that you have been absent from, and
the teacher of the class is ok with it, the child will have
to register again and pay a new registration fee.top^
4. Disciplinary
Action:
Students are expected to follow the rules in this form as
well as have a positive attitude, put forth their best effort,
and be respectful to others. If this is not the case, a student
will be given two verbal warnings. On the third occasion a
notice will be sent home requiring a parent’s signature.
After that if the problem persists, the owner and instructors
have the right to “drop” the student from the
class without any refunds for tuition, costumes, etc.top^
5. Tuition:
Tuition is due in full on the first class of each month. Some
months have only three weeks of classes due to holidays, however,
other months have five weeks of classes, therefore the tuition
remains the same for every month. Payments can be made by
check or cash. Please make sure that you put the student’s
name on the checks, and place the tuition in the appropriate
area. If you don’t have the exact cash amount and must
overpay, the extra amount will be credited to the next month’s
tuition. No change will be given. A $25.00 returned check
fee will be charged for any and all returned checks. A $15.00
late fee is required for payments made after the 10th of the
month. An additional $5.00 will be added to your account after
the 20th of the month. Again, no cash refunds or credit will
be given for unused or missed classes and the full amount
of tuition is due every month, even in June. There is sibling discounts
for family’s with more than one student attending class.
Private lessons are available at a cost of $25 for 30 minutes.
If you have scheduled a private lesson and don’t show
up, you will still be charged the full amount for that teacher’s
time.top^

instruction. Musical Theatre can have up to 23 in a class.
