Trust Your Dance TeamViolet Dance Company represents DMDA in performances around the area. They also compete in 3-4 competitions each year. The dancers are committed to their dance education with dedication and many hours of practice outside of their regular dance classes. As a member of the Company, the dancers are required to study ballet, jazz and acro, as well as taking an additional technique class together to improve their skills.The Company members are invited to perform in competition pieces by DMDA Instructors. We select dancers to perform solos, duos/trios, small group and large ensemble numbers. It is hard work for the dancers. They learn teamwork, dedication, competition skills, how to perform & dance technique. Most of all, they are a part of a unique mix of individuals, with so much talent, who become friends and learn to support one another.
